Texas State is our host; A 126-acre hideaway on the scenic Blanco River hosting two lodges, nine campsites, and four day-use sites. The four miles of hiking and biking trails throughout the property offers sweeping views of the Blanco River and the Wimberley river valley.

Event Details
We are excited to be collaborate with the Texas Chapter of ISA again as we head to a new location! Join us at the Texas State University Camp on April 22-24th!
EVENT DETAILS:
By registering you agree to provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test 72 hours prior to attending the event is required. You agree to wear a mask while within 10' of another person at the Camp. We will follow our host's campus policies. Additionally, we will follow any additional state and federal COVID guidelines. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
Check in:
Check in at Noon on 4/22.
This all-inclusive workshop includes food, lodging, instruction and use of tree climbing gear. You will learn how how to climb trees while emphasizing the art and science of Arboriculture. This safe, empowering experience will renew your spirit, allow you to bond with others curious and excited to learn more about trees, aloft! Most importantly, you will leave with new friends and a network of professional colleagues.
Travel:
If you need a ride from the airport - Research car share programs (Taxi, Uber, Lyft, etc.). We will also email everyone if you'd like to coordinate your times with other to share rides together.
Lodging:
Bring your own bedding (sleeping bag & pillow). The camp provides indoor bedded lodging, bathrooms and showers. If you wish to tent camp you are welcome. (BYOT) Please bring your own toiletries (towel and personal hygiene items).
Food:
Meals and snacks are included in your registration costs! Friday: Dinner, Saturday: Breakfast Lunch and Dinner, Sunday: Breakfast and Lunch. If you have food allergies, please email us as our caterer will do their best to fulfill your requests.
Tree Climbing Gear:
If you have your own tree climbing gear and wish to use it at the event, please bring it with your gear inspection documentation. You gear is required to be inspected by WTCW and signed off for use while participating.
Clothing:
Dress for all weather! Please pack long pants, long sleeves, over the ankle boots, rain and warm jackets, and don't forget sunscreen and bug spray.
Water Bottle:
Please bring your own water bottle, we will have water coolers in the field for you to refill your water bottles. Consider bringing & using your own plate and silverware to reduce your environmental footprint.
Cancellation Policy:
If you can’t attend the event, please email asap. Cancellations will be granted, less $100, till March 15th, 2022. After March 15th, no refunds will be granted.
