Join us for the inaugural WTCW at Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center, Aug 26-28, 2022
By registering you agree to provide a negative COVID test 48 hours prior to attending the event. We will follow all of Eagle Bluff's campus policies. Additionally, we will follow any additional state and federal COVID guidelines.

This all-inclusive workshop includes food, lodging, instruction and use of tree climbing gear. You will learn how how to climb trees while emphasizing the art and science of Arboriculture. This safe, empowering experience will renew your spirit, allow you to bond with others curious and excited to learn more about trees, aloft! Most importantly, you will leave with new friends and a network of professional colleagues.
If you need a ride from the airport - Research car share programs (Uber, Lyft, etc.). We will also send a group email once registration closes, so if you'd like to coordinate ride shares together.
(ex: Rochester airport to Eagle Bluff: 47 min MSP airport to Eagle Bluff: 2 hours)
The camp hosts indoor beds, washrooms and showers. Please bring your own toiletries (towel and personal hygiene items). Bring your own bedding (sleeping bag & pillow) or *Linen sets upon request – includes sheet, blanket, pillow, towel, washcloth (add’l $5 per person @ check-in)*
Food: THIS IS A NUT FREE CAMPUS! None allowed on property!
Meals and snacks are included in your registration costs! Friday: Dinner; Saturday: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner; Sunday: Breakfast and Lunch. If you have food allergies, please email us as our host will do their best to fulfill your requests.
Bring your own snack container to bring out to the field or up in a tree.
Tree Climbing Gear:
If you have your own tree climbing gear and wish to use it at the event, please bring it with your gear inspection documentation. Gear inspection and sign off is required before use on sight.
Dress for ALL weather! Please pack long pants, long sleeves, over the ankle hiking boots, rain and warm jackets, hats and gloves, and don't forget sunscreen and bug spray.
Water Bottle and...
Please bring your own water bottle or hydration pack, we will have water coolers in the field for you to refill your water bottles. Bring your yoga mat, blocks and strap. We do have a limited qty (first come, first serve).
Refund and Cancellation Policy: Registration is limited! If you cannot attend, for any reason, please contact us as soon as possible. If you notify us by July 22, 2022, and we can fill your position from the "Waitlist" your registration will be refunded your registration fee -$100.00. After July 22th, no refunds will be granted.
