The Women's Tree Climbing Workshop is a three day event designed for women who have never climbed trees taught by women tree climbers. It has progressed into something so much more. It has become a safe learning environment to enhance skill development and networking for past participants.

The WTCW offers a fun, safe place to learn. Leaving egos at the door, you can be yourself and learn at your own pace. This unique opportunity is open to women (18+) of all skills and abilities. Bring your tree climbing equipment (if you have any) and we'll help you determine whether it's safe to use. Don't have equipment? We've got you covered. Our equipment has been chosen to fit all sizes of people.

Our instructor team collectively brings over 90 years of climbing experience and over 50 years of instructional history. Since the birth of the program we have had over 350 women attend our workshop. Proudly, we have fostered a 10% career placement of participants into the field of arboriculture.

Your will learn a multitude of climbing styles and techniques with a great varitety of climbing equipment. Come network with people from all over the United States & Canada! There are others, that want to or do climb, just like you!

Registration Includes: Instruction, meals, lodging, yoga, networking, climber insurance, CEUs, event t-shirt, use of equipment, amazing prizes and a whole-lotta fun that you will never forget!

Space is limited to 30 participants. A paid waitlist will be taken by first come, first serve. Wait listed registrations, if not filled, will be refunded on September 14th, 2018.

Participant Information:

• Clothing: Please wear long flexible pants, hiking boots, short or long shirts (no tank tops).
• Dress and plan for weather: sunscreen, insect repellent, tick protection, rain gear and warm layers.
• Also bring: Your own climbing equipment (if you have it), a yoga mat (and one to share if you have the means), a bath towel, a travel mug, a reuseable water bottle, a snack container, a fun attitude and an open mind.

Scholarship Opportunities: WTCW is always seeking sponsorships to support this event. The registration cost does not cover the expenses, and without our sponsors we wouldn't be offering such a unique experience.

Due to our dedication of our prior sponsors we trust this year's workshop will be supported with successful fundraising efforts. We offer a minimum of two full scholarships. Please note applying for a scholarship does not guarantee a registration; scholarships will be announced on June 8, 2018.

Refund and Cancellation Policy: Registration is limited to 30 people. If you cannot attend, for any reason, please contact us as soon as possible. If we can fill your position your registration will be refunded 100% if you cancel by midnight on May 31, 2018. If after May 31, 2018 you will receive a refund, less a 10% processing fee.
