WTCW is headed back to Camp Chestnut Ridge May 10-12, 2024!

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation! 

Check in:  

Check in is at Noon on Friday.  Feel free to arrive earlier.  If you arrive early please feel free to enjoy some time by the lake or hike along the woodland trails.

This all-inclusive workshop includes food, lodging, instruction, use of gear, networking and CEU's.   You will learn how how to climb trees while emphasizing the art and science of Arboriculture.  This safe, empowering experience will renew your spirit, allow you to bond with others curious and excited to advance their knowledge.  Most importantly, you will leave with new friends and a network of professional colleagues.  

Travel:

If you need to a ride from the airport - please research car share programs (Taxi, Uber, Lyft, etc.). or if you wish to coordinate rides with other participants, we will be sending out an email with a Carpool Coordinator.

Lodging:  

Bring your own bedding (sleeping bag & pillow). The camp offers indoor bunk-bed lodging, bathrooms and showers. No linens are provided; bring your own towel and personal hygiene items.  If you wish to tent camp you are welcome however you must provide your own tent.   

Food:  

All meals & snacks are included in your registration costs!  Friday: dinner, Saturday: breakfast, lunch and dinner, Sunday: breakfast and lunch.  If you have food allergies, the food gurus will do their best to fulfill your requests.  If you need special snacks- please bring them.  There is a refridgerator on site for everyone to share in the bunk house.

Tree Climbing Gear: 

If you have your own tree climbing gear and wish to use it at the event, please bring it with any gear inspection documentation.  Your gear shall be inspected and signed off by a WTCW team member before using.

Clothing: 

The weather can change quickly;  please come prepared for all weather!  Please pack long pants, long sleeves, hiking (over the ankle) boots, rain and warm jackets, warm hat and gloves, and don't forget sunscreen and bug spray.  Please come prepared.

Yoga & More:

Your yoga mat and blocks want to join the fun.  If you don't have them, WTCW has some to share (first come, first serve).

Please bring your own water bottle and snack container. Water and snack coolers are available in the field.  

Consider bringing your own plate and silverware to reduce your environmental footprint. The caterer has a biodegradeable weekend option.

Course Check Out:  

The workshop ends at 5:00pm on Sunday.  Please honor this scheduled time; sponsors share amazing prizes and you don't want to miss this opportunity to receive amazing tree climbing gear and more.

Cancellation Policy: 

If you can’t attend the event, please email ASAP.  Full refunds will be made until noon on April 12th, 2024. Refund less $100 available until April 26, 2024.  After April 26th, no refunds will be granted.
